Alex Davis

Alex started his career with hands-on engineering at the Skip Barber Racing school supporting over 120 race cars and an in-house manufacturing team, all while developing a next generation formula car from the ground up.  From there the desire to travel the world brought him to Australian motorsports circuits, and ultimately to New Zealand to support the design and build of America’s Cup racing yachts.  After winning the America’s Cup trophy with Oracle Racing in 2013, he went back to IndyCar for trackside vehicle simulation support while supporting the next generation IndyCar aerodynamic packages.  The allure for a 2nd win in the oldest trophy in sport brought him back to Artemis Racing in 2014, and has been supporting the design and development of the most high tech yachts since then.  With a passion for applying data driven engineering to all systems he is involved with, in addition to yachts  he was also able to support a manufacturing technology startup through the Series A funding round in industrial system design.  He Co-Founded DavisNicols with the goal to serve clients with audacious dreams and the determination to realize them.
